Our Story
TicaFeaL makes incense and the small objects that go with it — burners, seals, censers, cups of tea warming next to them. Everything is designed for the fifteen quiet minutes at the end of a day.
Why incense
In the Song dynasty, four pursuits were considered the mark of a considered life: incense, tea, painting and flowers. Incense came first — not as perfume, but as a way of setting the room, and the mind, before anything else began.
That is the whole idea behind TicaFeaL. Not to make your home smell like something else, but to give it a beginning.
How we make things
- Small batches. Blends are milled in small runs and sealed the same week.
- Real materials. Sandalwood, agarwood, plant resins, dried herbs, mineral pigments — no synthetic fragrance oils.
- Slow, low heat. Our electric burners heat rather than burn, so the scent opens without smoke.
Where we are
Our workshop sits in China, close to the material: the wood merchants, the incense mills and the kilns that make our ceramics. Orders ship from there to the US and Europe, usually within 48 hours.
Our promise
- If a blend arrives damaged, we replace it.
- If a scent is not for you, tell us within 30 days and we will make it right.
- Every product is made for ritual and decorative use — never for medical claims.
